Riot Games
has announced a new feature mode for their free-to-play MOBA title League of Legends, Hexakill, which will pit two teams of six against each other for some chaotic fun.
The new six-versus-six bouts follow standard rules and take place in the familiar lanes of Summoner's Rift, where an imploding enemy nexus awaits the team that can best adapt to yet another face in the fray. Double junglers, roaming supports and six man wombo combos are all on the table for this new mode. Experiment with team comps and discover new metas as you seek to hear the ultimate announcement, “Hexakill.”
The new mode begins February 20th, and follows a long line of other quite hilarious modes in the past including Showdown, a collection of 1v1 and 2v2 duels, and One For All, a five-man mirror match.
