Lightning is no stranger to crossover costumes, with a number of various titles featuring the Final Fantasy XIII protagonist herself or using clothing similar to the character. Today it seems the opposite is happening, with Square Enix announcing that Tomb Raider's Lara Croft will be gifting her unique outfit to Lightning this time round.

The DLC, a wardrobe staple for any avid adventurer, will include Lara Croft’s unmistakable gear, as made famous in Square Enix's rebooted Tomb Raider. In addition to the vest, shorts, boots, players will also receive the exclusive Survivor’s Axe and Riot Shield to help them during battle.

The DLC will be available to download from launch via the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Games Store for Xbox 360. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be available on February 11th for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

This is retarded.

But I did find it funny how the costume includes mud and dirt.
