Initially launched during the Christmas period that abruptly caused the system to become unresponsive and pulled off the eShop, cloud storage app Pokemon Bank has now become available to 3DS users across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Free until the 14th of March, users who jump in now will be given a free super-rare Celebi for the previous networking troubles. The program allows you to keep up to 3000 critters from 3DS games Pokémon X and Y on Nintendo's servers.

The bank application is available to download through the Nintendo 3DS eShop, and you'll also find the included Pokemon Transporter application. This tool will allow users to upload Pokemon from DS titles Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 _ be warned though, this is a one-way only process.
