Valve is continuing their humungous updates for free-to-play MOBA DOTA 2, revealing
a patch list as large as three pages and of course introducing the newest hero to the ranks; Terrorblade.
DAY<2
Terrorblade is the demon marauder—an outlaw hellion whom even other demons fear. He stole from the Demon Lords and for his crimes was taught this lesson: even Hell has a hell. He was incarcerated in Foulfell, a dark mirror of reality where demons are sentenced to gaze into twisted reflections of their own souls. But instead of suffering, Terrorblade mastered his reflected worst self and turned his terror loose upon creation.
Terrorblade comes equipped with a range of deadly abilities from creating copies of your enemies (that attack and slow the target) to swapping your melee attack for a ranged strike and exchanging your health for the ally or enemies. It is currently unclear where Terrorblade will sit in the meta gaming, and what lane he'll show most appreciation for, but he'll definitely be one enemy you'll want to keep both eyes on.
The new update also comes alongside the random ability draft, a new game mode that unlocks at level 11 in which each player is "randomly assigned a hero, and each hero's abilities are placed into a pool." Chaos will definitely ensue as you struggle to take in the fact that you are playing Axe but throwing Pudge's hook.
As usual with Valve, it isn't just the usual patch notes you'll be getting today as the team unveiled the newest event to go live in-game, 'New Bloom Festival'. Far too much is being added in this event to list here, but expect a number of new weapons, armour, fireworks and news 'Crimson Parcels' to unlock the hidden secrets of the New Bloom Festival. Check it all out at the
official splash page.

YAY! Hopefully this will get things moving a bit quicker and try to end the counter picking war a bit.

Yeh you cap out pretty quickly vs bots. If you want to ever play real dota just man up and jump in.
Take no s*** though. If someone has helpful advice listen for sure, but 90% of the time its just angsty nerdrage. Like if someone asks why you are building a Battlefury on Anti-Mage vs an aggressive push lineup, and you don't understand what the complaint is, then ask why! It will help you.
But mostly people will just be all ragey. The correct response is a 'pls dont be a douche or Im just ignore you' and then inevitably when you get a douchey++ reply use the ignore button and move on. Add a report if they are especially f***ed up.
Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played! Well played!

DotA 2 community at it's finest with you guys. I'm loving the gold loss after pick, I've had too many games that have paused right at the start because three people still need to pick someone. Also I learnt a lot about heroes from Dota 2 fails of the week, strange I know but with the guys naming the abilities and heroes, you quickly get a grasp on characters...and what not to do as them. :P

Can see teams having their bland support pick and then dc at 0:20 though so they can buy lots of uninterrupted pauses.

tinker laser range sounds a bit silly although by the time you get aghs it's not as hectic and if they're rushing it then they've foregone something that's probably more useful.
wonder if they'll start adding more aghs effects for non ulti abilities

Great for low mana heroes like tide, axe.
That aghs on tinker affecting non-ult spells is interesting. Suppose it makes up for not affecting his ulti.
Also saw the TP stack delay. Was this always in place? Never knew about it but did wonder why i thought the TP channel times seemed to change
I havent played DOTA2 since before the release of the elementals. Actually uninstalled it the other day. Sad times. Still good to see the updates though.
