Indie sci-fi open world survival title Darkout will be making its way to Steam come December 4th, according to a new post by developer Allgraf on their official website (thanks Shacknews). It will be available at a price point of $14.99, and Allgraf has outlined just what will be included in the launch version that the studio has dubbed "stage one," and others to follow.

According to the announcement page, Phase 1 is considered to be the current beta form, albeit with a few changes. These include a new male character with his own storyline, an item database for easy storage and crafting, and revamped AI and lighting systems. The blog also details exactly what you can expect in phases two through to four which will include more story, more biomes, an end to the game, new enemies and of course new items. Multiplayer was also teased, though that will be appearing as an alpha/beta in stage two, wrapping up in stage three to be properly released.
