Saints Row 4 developer Volition has announced that their open-world title is set to kick off the holiday season with some style with its Christmas-themed DLC, How The Saints Saved Christmas.

Free to those who own the Season Pass and priced at $6.99 for everyone else, the new DLC will contain three new weapons - Red Rider BB Gun, Christmas Dubstep Gun, and the North Pole - all for your destruction pleasure. The new chapter in the Saints lives will also follow the story of the Scrooge-like boss of the Saints, who doesn't care enough that Santa is trapped in the game's Matrix-like simulation. Of course the Saints will have to remedy this themselves, helping the boss discover the true meaning of the season.

The new DLC will be available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
