Back in October, Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors teased that they couldn't wait to announced one of the studios upcoming projects, describing it as one of their "dream IP scenarios". Today it looks like we may have just found out what that statement was in reference to, as
IGN is reporting that "multiple reliable sources" that the studio is working on the popular Game of Thrones fantasy license, the IP recently popularlised by the hugely successful HBO TV series, itself based on The Song of Ice and Fire series of novels from author George R. R. Martin.
IGN's info offering ends there however, with no indication on whether the game is expected to follow already familiar characters and storylines from the franchise, or go it's own way. It also doesn't even confirm that it will be the same kind of story-driven adventure game that Telltale has become known for, although we'd be pretty surprised if it wasn't.
