With our American friends gaining access to their PlayStation 4's mere hours from now, us Australian folk have to sit back and wait for November 29th to roll around. While we wait, Sony has finally unveiled an official UI walkthrough to showcase just what is inside the box.

Clocking in at just over nine minutes, the video offers an in-depth look into the UI functionality of the next-gen consoles. Showing off just how fluid the menus are, Vice President of Sony Network Entertainment Eric Lempel jumps from feature to feature with ease and fluidity, a nice breath of fresh air from the somewhat slow and painful PlayStation 3 menu that we are currently use to.

A number of features shown in the video include Twitch streaming integration, PlayStation Friends List, the 'What's New' section showing off an almost Facebook like news feed and the revamped PlayStation Store menu. Lempel also previews the ability to purchase a game through their PlayStation mobile app and have it download directly to your PlayStation 4 while away from the console.

Check it out below.
