With the return of Blizzard's annual Blizzcon event now passed by, AusGamers own Stephen Farrelly had the chance to talk with Blizzard's Helen Cheng and Marco Koegler on all things World of Warcraft with their latest expansion, Warlords of Draenor.

Visiting a number of topics including how Garrison housing will work, time travelling back to Draenor and the work put into remodelling the vanilla player character models, this interview is definitely one you don't want to miss.

Garrison's sound awesome, finally player housing which is a great idea glad they are finally adding this into the game.

Removal of Reforging has to be a massive mistake, the only reason they are removing it is because its to confusing for casual players and they have no idea what there doing, so typical blizzard do this shiit for casual players and not the people that actually use it for its purpose.

No flying in WoD until first major patch, this is a great idea for level 90-100 but im worried at Max level how this will pan out, this could go either way, but im not to fussed on it.

This expansion looks great and im looking forward to playing it... but there is a lot of things blizzard are changing that players are QQing about, so this expansion could turn out great or go bad, guess we have to wait and see.

The whole POINT to it is you can get trophies and upgrade it / lay it out how you want over time. It's a personal space where you can reflect on the things you've done.

I think I'd rather have a large hunting lodge where I can get heads of raid bosses, mount them along with items I've gotten and other things.

I love storing awesome s*** I find in skyrim in houses, I even had a house in Morrowind that had a hall lined with the helmets of the guards I'd killed.

But meh, garrison's are a step in the right direction I guess.

By "no point" they mean no gameplay, they've said in the past, they didn't want to just chuck player housing in if there was no gameplay inherent in it.

Garrisons is going to have that stuff anyway, you'll get trophies and monuments and other such stuff you can show off in your garrison. They even gave that particular example of mounting the heads of rares you kill on the walls. Then you get all the base building and follower gameplay on top, so its win win.
