Infinity Ward's latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise is now upon us, with their new dog-orientated title Call of Duty: Ghosts now available for your FPS needs.
Ghosts has launched across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC today, with next-gen versions coming within the next few weeks of their console launches. The newest addition to the long-running Call of Duty franchise sees a number of various tweaks and changes to the popular formula, including the introduction of your canine friend, Riley, who can take down helicopters. Yes, helicopters.
Outnumbered and outgunned, but not outmatched. Welcome to Call of Duty®: Ghosts, an extraordinary step forward for one of the largest entertainment franchises of all-time. This new chapter in the Call of Duty® franchise features a fresh dynamic where players are on the side of a crippled nation fighting not for freedom, or liberty, but simply to survive.
Fueling this all new Call of Duty universe, the franchise's ambitious new next-gen engine delivers stunning levels of immersion and performance all while maintaining the speed and fluidity of 60 frames-per-second across all platforms.
If you feel like you are "bro" enough, check out the launch trailer below for some crazy Hollywood-style shenanigans that you probably shouldn't try to recreate at home.

Why is it match making me with people from Ireland and various other countries that are extremely far away from Melbourne, Australia. There's no option to alter this, there is also no ping or latency information. So the matches are extremely laggy. You walk across a room shooting someone. Die, on kill cam you got shot just as you entered the room.
Also the graphics are kind of sharp, not in a good way. Not sure how it's running, what's lag and what's the game. Seemed to be worse running than BF4. Which I can play on Ultra.
So yeah, MP is a complete bust for PC so far. Unplayable.

The game runs like poo. Mouse lag and weird sensitivity issues. 60 FOV is an atrocity to mankind.
Yet to try the MP but I thought I read that there was going to be dedicated servers and you lot are saying there is not?

the game doesn't launch. a message pops up saying you don't meet the requirements.

Still waiting for some kind of patch or driver to fix the multiplayer performance. It's so bad.
Yeh Whoop if you have less than 6gb ram it wont let you launch, you need a 3rd party exe hack to fix it to run.

fryzee: I've got more than enough ram to run it so don't need any 3rd party hax, was just curious.

lol nubs. They went p2p back in Modern Warfare 2 and thats when it all went to s***.
Play on console or dont bother.
The s*** FOV is also old news as well, but this will probably be fixed with a console command or 3rd party program in the future.

Exit COD GHOST PC
With notepad or your fav text editor
Open this file \Call of Duty Ghosts\players2\config_mp.cfg
for steam its: steam\steamapps\common\\Call of Duty Ghosts\
change seta cl_maxPing “800″ to seta cl_maxPing “150″
Exit text editor
Restart COD GHOST PC
Search for a game with lower ping , if you cant find games
increase to 200 instead of 150
Tip: Might be a good idea to make a backup copy of the config_mp.cfg file before changing it
