Spooky first-person horror title Outlast will be gaining a new DLC story containing a new protagonist and storyline, developer Red Barrel Studios revealed today.
According to the
new press release, the game has sold well enough since its launch early last month that "that the team has started work on new downloadable content, with more details and a first look coming this Halloween." The new DLC promises to explore further into the abandoned asylum where the the game takes place, where players take on the role of a journalist investigating said asylum while trying to avoid the quite creepy residents.
If you haven't yet picked up the title, something I can't blame you for considering how creepy it is, the game is currently on sale with a 33 percent discount. Those up to the task will also find that purchasing the game through the
official website will nab you a DRM-free copy plus a Steam key and the soundtrack.
