Batman: Arkham Origins and its side-scroller handheld buddy Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate are only hours away from being launched worldwide, so what better way to celebrate than the release of a launch trailer showing Batman taking the law in his own hands come Christmas Eve.

With a splash of gameplay and a glimpse at some of the opening missions of the Dark Knight's adventures, it certainly shows you just how much content there will be in this open-world title. Also take note that Batman does not like having his Christmas ruined, which is understandable for any superhero.

Batman: Arkham Origins launches worldwide tomorrow, October 25th, for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate checks in on the same day but for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. Check out the trailer below and also browse some new screenshots of the Bat in Origins Blackgate.

i'm glad i went against my gut last night and purchased this before any reviews were out, because it's damn awesome so far. it feels exactly like the previous games, just bigger. i'm even liking the new batman voice actor.

i grabbed it from GMG for $37.50 with their 25% off voucher which lasts until 3pm UCT, about 1am tonight qld time.
