Famous English author Neil Gaiman, who is known for a number of hit books (among other literature) including Stardust, American Gods and Coraline, has debuted the first teaser trailer for his puzzle/adventure game Wayward Manor.
In-development by The Odd Gentlemen, a studio who is well known for their indie hit titles The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and Flea Symphony, the trailer gives a brief glimpse at some of the spooky atmosphere in the first chapter of a multi-part series.
Set in a 1920s Victorian Gothic pastoral estate, Wayward Manor focuses on the plight of a ghost whose hope of a peaceful after-life is interrupted by a remarkable cast of intruders. Awoken from his post-mortem slumbers, our ghost must find ever-more inventive and brilliant ways to scare them away. As the ghost learns more about the living characters, he also learns more about his own death and after-life, and the danger they are all facing.
The teaser trailer also outs a new platform for the title, coming to tablets alongside PC and Mac. Pre-orders have also opened up on
Steam for those in need of keeping their libraries growing. Check out the
pre-order page for all the details.
