Beyond: Two Souls is Quantic Dreams' latest venture into the interactive movie-like experience, blending Hollywood and gaming together to form what many hope to be a solid game experience with a high budget for detail. With David Cage at the helm and starring the Hollywood-experienced Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, could Beyond: Two Souls follow the success of Heavy Rain's interactive gaming successfully?
We enlisted supernaturel specialist Jickle to help us see just what his thoughts were on David Cage's latest movie-like experience, and whether it held a light up to previous installments from Quantic Dream.
David Cage may have succeeded at making his most cinematic game yet, but if I’d paid $8 to see Beyond on the cinema’s cheap day I would have walked out well before the credits rolled.

Read first few paragraphs of s***** self indulgent review. I liked southland tales :(

I can see where you're coming from though, videos of the gameplay seem awfully restrictive even when compared to heavy rain. It demands your empathy through the story, but never immerses you in the characters/world because of the limited mechanics..

Still, given my slavish devotion to all things Ms Page, I don't think I really have a choice!
... and if she reads this, beware Jickle, she may lay the Hard Candy smackdown upon thee! ;)

You didn't mention it in your review (or if you did I missed it) but there is co-op in the game, and it does accommodate those who really don't play many if any games.
