Activision has opened up the early registration process for the hardcore CoD crowd to secure the names of their multiplayer clan team on the Call of Duty: Elite service, with a new trailer outlining some of the advantages of gang life and the new features in this year's franchise iteration -- most notably, support for clans on the PC version, and cross-platform memberships.
Check out how Clans is an integral part of the Call of Duty: Ghosts' multiplayer experience. This year introduces new breakthroughs, including the Call of Duty Clan Wars game experience, and cross-platform Clans -- where players can now join a Clan with friends regardless of whether they play on Xbox, PlayStation or Windows PC, and level-up their Clan to earn exclusive unlocks and multiplayer XP bonuses.
Clan names in Call of Duty Elite won't be transferring over from the previous games, as it's supposedly a whole new system, so if you're attached to your title, you best make tracks.
You can watch the trailer below, and there's an absurdly long FAQ detailing the ins and outs of early clan registration over on the official Call of Duty blog
