Tecmo Koei has announced that in addition to the previously confirmed Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release, the forthcoming Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is also due to appear on Steam for the PC.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is an impressive project led by the expertise of Team NINJA’s Yosuke Hayashi and Comcept’s Keiji Inafune, with the goal of creating a thrilling new experience for fans. The world of the ninja meets undead warriors, cybernetic weapons, in an entirely new game that draws from the Ninja Gaiden franchise with a host of bold, new features including an original storyline and style of gameplay.
The game on all platforms is expected in "early 2014".

I think it's time they pulled the plug on the ninja gaiden series. Ever since after the first ninja gaiden the series has gone down hill. It's down hill spiral seems to be directly correlated with team ninja trying to make the game more accessible to newcomers. One weapon with one magic ninpo throughout the whole game of ninja gaiden 3? Cmon. What we get instead is an animated cut scene on every last kill. They killed it for me that's for sure and not in a good way either.
