It has been quite a while since we've heard anything new about Korean developer Blueside's long-delayed Kingdom Under Fire II. The game was originally announced around five years ago, promising more of the epic scale fantasy battles popularised by the series on the original Xbox.

Today, we have the first new trailer after almost six months of silence, and if you're a fan of attacking giant crabs for massive damage, this one's for you. The Invasion Mode video demonstrates 16 players cooperatively making a mess among two vast armies of knights and monsters... or something like that. Check it out below.

Kingdom Under Fire II is supposed to launch this year on PC and PlayStation 3, but no official release date has been confirmed.
