PCGamer has revealed the full list of classes that will be made available for players to compete against in Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior, the upcoming expansion to Torn Banner's Chivalry: Medieval Warfare based on based on Spike TV’s historical “What if?” show.

Taking the stand alongside the previously revealed Spartan and Samurai will be the viking, pirate, ninja and knight. Alongside the various historical weapons that the classes will be able to equip is the chance for players to utilise class specific abilities to deal deadly extra damage in a unique way. One example given is the viking, who offers up a berserker mode that will increase his weapon combo strikes, getting faster and faster the longer the combo is maintained.

Of course it isn't just the medieval classes that will be available, with several new maps also being offered in the expansion, all tuned to certain periods in time.
Each warrior will also have a signature map. We got to fight it out on the Samurai and Spartan maps, depicting Japanese and Hellenic temple complexes, respectively. The Samurai map featured a section of destructible floor that gave way to a deadly pit, as well as accessible rooftops to fight on. The Spartan map featured a larger, circular abyss that totally wasn’t at all inspired by any emissary-kicking scenes in major Hollywood action movies.
Check out the announcement trailer below and head over to the official website for more on the new expansion.

I love this game, and I'm glad they're bringing out new content, but they need to fix the game breaking bugs before they make expansions. Things like a player having their back turned to you and they block someone in front of them, but their block still blocks your swing. Block animations not registering but still working. Using catapults, balistas etc and no longer able to use your weapons. Heaps of huge bugs that have been in the game for months.

Tyoson, that bug doesn't really happen very often, you have to align all the stars for it to work so yeah it certainly isn't even close to game breaking. The animation/de syn issues are a limitation of engine combined with latency and is the best it will get without a boost in latency reduction.

As for those Batista ones, I haven't really had it happen to me since the last few patches.

All in all the game is very playable and nothing really 'game breaking' about it.

What's your name on Chivalry? We should jump on together. I did word that wrong. It doesn't break the game, just frustrates me. I'm a huge hater of panic parry as well. I used to love the advantage of my zweihander against archers because they'd always miss their first swing and I'd punish them for it by keeping my distance. Now they miss a swing and can instant block. Annoys me haha.
