Deep Silver has revealed new details on their third DLC pack for post-apocalyptic FPS RPG Metro: Last Light, titled 'Developer Pack'. The third of four season pass DLC add-ons will release on September 17 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
The new DLC pack includes a variety of new features, one of which is a large single-player mission inside a missile silo infested with spiders. To help players make it through, developer 4A Games has been nice enough to include a new flamethrower weapon. Those affected by arachnophobia need not go any further.
Players will also find a new "Shooting Range" introduced into the DLC pack, complete with a series of marksman challenges. According to the
developer blog post "the complex behaviours of our sophisticated AI model can be studied on more detail in the AI Arena, allowing you to pit groups of enemies against each other and take part in additional challenges." The DLC also allows you to get up and close with the enemies and NPCs of Metro: Last Light.
4A Games has also revealed the final DLC pack for Last Light, titled Chronicles. According to the blog post this pack will "most closely resembles the Metro campaign experience as you take controls of Pavel, Anna, and Khan and Ulman as we tie up some unanswered questions away from Artyom’s quest." Expect more details later in the year.
