Independent game development studio Red Barrels has today announced that their spooky horror title Outlast is now available
on Steam for $19.99.
Outlast follows investigative journalist Miles Upshur as he explores Mount Massive Asylum with his trusty night-vision camera, hoping to break the story of his life. But his story – and his life – is quickly put in danger as he discovers a mystery that walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely…
If horror is your kind of genre then check out the launch trailer below which eagerly reminds us that just about anything is scary in an abandoned asylum.
“Outlast contains intense violence, gore, graphic sexual content, and strong language,” said Game Designer and Red Barrels Co-founder Philippe Morin. “Please enjoy!”

I find most rides pretty meh. Speed, acceleration, g forces n all that s*** during a ride makes them good to go on but certainly not on the edge of your seat terrifying like certain movies or games.
As for the games/movies. Cant tell you why i enjoy them so much. I do find games much more intense than movies. Probably back 5-10years ago the movies were scarier but the more i watch, the more i get used to s*** and know what to expect. I also think the POV of games makes them much more engaging and draws you in more so than movies.
Also, i read a brief study snippet a while ago that watching somewhat scary movies (more like a thriller than an all out horror) increases that chances of women being horny afterwards compared to say comedy/action etc. So yes, good news for you.
