Continuing the trend of R18+ games in Australia, Quantic Dream's upcoming Ellen Page title Beyond: Two Souls has gained the latest classification ahead of its release later this year.

According to the Classification Board, the R18 rating was handed down due to "threats of sexual violence and interactive drug use" with mentioning of moderate impact of sexual themes and some very mild nudity.

Those eager for Quantic's latest venture into the more cinematic approach to gaming can expect Beyond: Two Souls to hit shelves October 8th for PlayStation 3. Check out the latest video below for a snippet of the game including a look at Ellen Page's role as the main protagonist.

I'm really really looking forward to this game. I've avoided all the trailers since the initial reveal trailer a few years ago. This is probably the last game I'll play on my PS3 too.

That's some top notch motion capture. I hope it isn't too prettied up for the video and that's actually in game.
I'll probably grab it anyway, i love me some adventure gaming

I still get the impression this "game" is nothing more than a series of over-glorified quicktime events just like Heavy Rain was.

As long as it has a better story than Heavy Rain - that is, a more coherent narrative with a plot that doesn't cheat its arse off to get to an illogical conclusion - and it stays away from the awkward as hell sex scenes, it might all be ok. Right?

I'll wait until someone releases the entire thing as a 2 hour movie on youtube and then watch it like it's suppose to be.

Because it's not a movie, the story changes depending on the outcome of your actions and decisions... this is something Movies currently can't offer viewers...
