This is the last lot of Gamescom coverage coming from us for this week (there's yet still more on the way next week), but this one comes from our neighbour formally of across the
pond, Mr Joab "Joaby" Gilroy, who managed to mech up and take Respawn's Titanfall for a hands-on spin.
Speed and agility inhabit pilots, while being powerful and imposing (and giant targets) is what it means to be a titan. There's also a whole lot more thrown into the mix and, from what Joab has described here, we've apparently only scratched the surface of this new and exciting multiplayer entry. Only one mode was playable, but considering Joab was MIA most of the time, apparently waiting in line for another crack, it must have been good.
Read what he had to say about the game in our
Titanfall hands-on preview.

Enough about CoD! Titanfall is great. When you leap onto an enemies Titan it's called Rodeoing. You sit there, blasting away at the core control system of the Mech (positioned helpfully on the top) until eventually your enemy hops out and fire a shotgun in his face.
