While Australia may still be waiting for their censored version of Volition's open-world chaotic title Saints Row 4, publisher Deep Silver has revealed that the rest of the world has contributed to a staggering 1 million plus sales within the first week of its launch.
“We are incredibly happy of the reception for Saints Row IV as a critical and now a commercial success,” said Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of parent company Koch Media (via
VG247). “The development team at Volition is second-to-none as a driving creative force in the entertainment industry and we are very proud to have them as part of the Deep Silver family.”
According to Deep Silver the PC version in particular has helped contribute to the large volume, reportedly tripling the first week sales of their previous Saints Row: The Third title.
