2K Games and Gearbox Software have confirmed recent reports of a Game of the Year Edition for their loot-filled co-op FPS Borderlands 2, revealing that the new edition will feature all previously released DLC and will be making its way to stores this October.
The package includes the following DLC:
Borderlands 2 Main Game;
Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty;
Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage;
Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt;
Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep;
Creature Slaughter Dome;
Premiere Club Content:
Gaige, the Mechromancer Character Class;
Gearbox Gun Pack;
Vault Hunter's Relic;
Krieg, the Psycho Character Class;
Collector's Edition Heads and Skins;
Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1.
For those who have been holding out waiting for a collection of all the DLC released so far, you'll find it available on October 8th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Gearbox has yet to confirm whether this edition will be made available for the PlayStation Vita version recently announced, though we'll probably hear more on that as we get closer to its release.
