Nvidia has revealed in a new blog post that the tech giant and Ubisoft have teamed up to offer various PC-exclusive effects and features for upcoming current and next-gen open-world hacking title Watch Dogs.

The announcement comes alongside a previous alliance that saw two other Ubisoft titles getting the PC treatment; Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Exact details on what Watch Dogs will be gaining from the graphics card maker have yet to be revealed, however we can assume ambient occlusion, TXAA, and higher-resolution art assets similar to the previous two Ubisoft titles will most likely be included.

While we wait on the specifics of what exactly Watch Dogs on PC will offer, check out the latest trailer below.

I think with the release of next gen consoles I'll finally have to upgrade my graphics card. Thinking of making the switch from AMD to nVidia.

Its actually probably the best time to move from Nvidia to AMD. I am Nvidia fan mainly because AMD drivers suck and most games work with Nvidia, however with all the new game consoles running AMD i think things will change.

Same thoughts as me. I'm currently on a GTX570 and it handles thing well for now, but I will need to upgrade sooner or later. I'm holding out until we can see just what kind of benefits the AMD-powered consoles have but I'll either grab a 770 or a 7970.

You know, I never actually thought about that. I read somewhere that the PS4 will run on basically the exact same hardware you can get in a PC. So porting from the PS4 to PC will be a lot faster and nicer. I might just wait it out a little while longer. My 5850 is holding me back from playing some games on ultimate haha.

Also have a GTX570, I will also be waiting to see what happens with video cards and multiplatform games.

I have had driver issues with both, game support issues with both. Particularly when you have 2 cards cross fire vs. SLI ... Not that I think SLI does scan line interleaving anymore they just stole the name off a technology that worked (it's now scaleable something something).

nVidia seemingly gives better performance, but my experience has been AMD "feels" better, but from game to game who the f*** knows. e.b. Secret world was an AMD nightmare.

physX is s***.

Bring back voodoo :(

nVidia will be fine, just because the new consoles have AMD cards will mean f*** all.

I know this Audi but what i am trying to say is that maybe AMD will get its act together and support more games on release :)
