The bad news just keeps on coming for Australia when its about Saints Row 4, with
IGN reporting that the game has been delayed according to new changes on various retailer store pages
Originally the game was scheduled to arrive on August 22nd for Australian residents, however "several local retailers have since adjusted their expected release dates across all platforms to September 12, including
EB Games,
JB Hi-Fi, and
Gametraders" states IGN.
Steam has also adjusted their date to September 2013.
No official statement has been given from Volition, publishers of the upcoming open-world title, on why exactly the Australian version has been delayed. According to IGN "there won’t be any official word on the delay until tomorrow at the earliest."
Saints Row 4 has had a somewhat troublesome timeline in Australia, previously being refused classification by our Classification Board and then being given a MA15+ rating with the offending content removed. Hopefully we will hear more on the situation soon.
