BioWare and EA have revealed a new free-to-play title making its way into the Dragon Age franchise, Heroes of Dragon Age. Revealed for Android and iOS, the mobile platform will offer "a squad-based combat game with addictive hero collection and engaging quests from the award-winning Dragon Age franchise."
Heroes of Dragon Age lets fans build a party of famous heroes and feared monsters from packs featuring an array of unique 3D figures spanning Dragon Age lore. Players can battle each other in fast-paced, character-based combat and see their hero-leveling and squad-formation strategies pay off as they earn rewards and climb the leaderboard.
The title is expected to revolve around a digital trading card system similar to Blizzard's Hearthstone, though no details were given on what kind of in-game transactions we can expect.

Heroes of Dragon Age is expected to show its face on Android and iOS sometime in the American Fall (our Spring), with a nice offering of cross-platform play to keep the competition alive. Check out the first handful of screenshots below for a glimpse at what to expect.
