After revealing their quite stunning CGI trailer late last night, CD Projekt RED has today revealed that their upcoming RPG will be home to famous British actor and screenwriter Charles Dance, who is best known for his roles in Alien 3, The Last Action Hero and Game of Thrones. Dance will be voicing Emperor Emhyr var Emreis in The Witcher 3.
After Nilfgaard’s invasion of the Northern Kingdoms at the end of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, the emperor’s forces ravaged these lands, sowing terror and despair. Killing Monsters, the epic cinematic trailer released yesterday, shows No Man’s Land, a part of the North, under Nilfgaardian rule.
“Charles Dance is the perfect candidate to play the mighty Nilfgaardian emperor in our upcoming title. It’s a dream come true for the team here at RED to be able to work with such an accomplished actor and magnetic personality,” said Marcin Blacha, Lead Writer for the title.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set for release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014. If you missed out on the jaw-dropping cinematic, you can check it out below.

Great actor and his voice suits perfect for an emperor. I've never been this excited for a game since Skyrim, 2014 needs to come faster.
