Deep Silver, publisher of the most recent Dead Island: Riptide and Saints Row 4, has today announced a new title in the zombie series, Dead Island: Epidemic. Set in the ever-expanding Dead Island universe, Epidemic has been classed as a ZOMBA - a Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena - that will also be free-to-play.

Details are still slim on what exactly Epidemic will be bringing to the MOBA field, though you can probably expect zombies and at least some form of zombie mutilation in flow with their previous titles. The title will be coming to PC sometime soon, with more details to be announced at this year's GamesCom event in Germany so stay tuned for more.
