Those looking forward to the upcoming Saints Row 4 title from Volition will be happy to hear that a third collectors edition packed with more thematic Saints Row goods, the Game of the Generation Edition, has been announced today by publisher Deep Silver.

Offering a number of physical goodies including what seems to be a "Display Case of Everlasting Glory: a light-up rotating display case with an individually-numbered plaque indicating exclusiveness, elitism, AAAAA quality and other highbrow words describing your unwavering dedication to my ultimate reign over humanity." According to Deep Silver the Game of the Generation Edition will also include all the previous physical items from the Wub Wub Edition, so those in need of a 12-inch Dubstep gun replica capable of rendering your enemies absolutely speechless with the power of music should probably rejoice.

It is unclear whether Australia will be gaining this very limited edition, however the Australian Classification Board revealed that they will be meeting on July 29 to re-assess the previous refused classification, so fingers crossed.

Saints Row 4 will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on August 20th for America and originally August 22nd for Australia (however still on schedule for New Zealand).

I never buy into these special editions. Just give me a base copy as cheap as possible and I'm happy.

I always buy into the best edition available. Just make me pay for the most extroverted edition which costs more than any other editions out there and I'm even happier :) ...
