Capcom and developer WayForward have announced that the remastered version of DuckTales will be making its nostalgia return in early August for eager fans. A new mini-documentary has also been released giving insight into just how the team were able to re-imagine Duckburg.
To help celebrate this quack-tastic news, the team has released the very first “Duckumentary” video, which goes behind the scenes with the talented developers at WayForward. The series of videos - beginning today and released every other week until the game’s launch - chronicles the creative process of bringing back Scrooge McDuck and one of the most cherished 8-bit titles of all time to current generation gaming platforms.
DuckTales: Remastered will officially release from this August on all major platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC. Specific dates include a digital download on August 13 for PlayStation Network, Nintendo eShop on Wii U and PC, with an Xbox Live Arcade version launching September 11.
