Bungie's forthcoming first person shooter Destiny won't be with us until next year, but you can get a small taste of the experience now with "Awakening", one of the songs from the game's soundtrack, now available in full.

According to a bungie blog post, the track featured prominently in their E3 exhibit, and is the work of composers Marty O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori.
Program Notes: Marty O’Donnell:
Repeating patterns and signals enfold us day and night and in all ages.
Unmoved mover that moves all others.
Inclining from heaven towards the Seven.
New music heard so deeply that it is not heard at all.
Destiny's soundtrack has been recorded in collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney, and initial work was performed at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.

Destiny is due in 2014 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
