Square Enix has revealed that the once Wii U exclusive title Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut is no longer an exclusive, coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 alongside the Wii U.
“After our Director’s Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of Human Revolution to other platforms,” said Stéphane D’Astous, General Manager of Eidos-Montréal. “We’re thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, ‘You asked for this!’”
Bringing a variety of new content including overhauled boss battles, the Director's Cut of the amber-drenched world of Adam Jensen will also be launching with second-screen functionality similar to the Wii U's GamePad. Both Xbox SmartGlass and PS Vita will be gaining support for a full slate of features to utilise off-screen "that make the touchscreen interface Adam Jensen’s primary neural hub enhancement."
No specific release date has yet been given for the new Deus Ex: Human Revolution version, however it is expected to be available later this year.
