PopCap Games has kicked off EA's press conference with the announcement of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, a third-person co-op multiplayer title coming exclusively to Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Reminiscent of previous FPS games like Battlefield and Call of Duty, Plants vs Zombies allows you to choose between a variety of iconic characters, but also includes the ability to "plant" NPCs just like in the previous arcade titles.

The title includes the usual humour of the series, especially the "boss battles" which featured a disco zombie complete with retro introduction (and disco ball). Players will be able to work together to defeat the zombie waves through various roles.

XBox exclusive? Boo.

Also, they are tone deaf enough to have the one female on the stage playing the healer?

The bit that resonated with me was the lack of crowd participation/enthusiasm in the whole thing.
There was a 'cheer' at the end; but I'm not sure if it was 'for the game' or 'thank f*** can we get on to something else now'.
