The first of an expected six episodes, the short runs 18 minutes and introduces the main characters Alex and David in a post apocalyptic world inhabited by former humans infected by a new strain of Cordyceps parasitic fungus that infects a host's brain and spreads via airborne spores.
This story takes the perspective that these creatures share a collective consciousness, and communicate through the same thread of thought.
