WildStar developer Carbine Studios has released a new developer diary looking at the importance of movement in their upcoming MMO, focusing on double jumping as well as the ability to sprint in-game.
The latest episode of DevSpeak has been released! Check out DevSpeak: Movement - the first episode of many to break down WildStar's innovative combat system.

There are a lot of things we could say about WildStar. It's fun! It's innovative! It's the best thing since sliced bread! Or we can cut the BS, show you the game, and explain the cool things that we're doing. That's what DevSpeak is all about.
While the video does dedicate most of its time showing off just how to move around in WildStar, it also offers a few short glimpses at some of the in-game combat in action, however notes that more of that will be coming in later episodes.

WildStar is expected to be released later this year, with a beta currently underway which you can signup for over here.
