Square Enix has announced that their upcoming re-announced MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be launching sometime in the American summer (winter for Australia). No specific date has been given yet by Square Enix, however the team did mention that the launch would occur sometime after the last round of beta testing in June, which will be including PlayStation 3 testers for the first time.
The game is scheduled to enter the third phase of closed beta testing in June. Beta phase three will introduce PlayStation 3 users to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn for the very first time, where they will be able to experience the captivating world of Eorzea alongside PC players due to the game’s cross-platform functionality.
In addition to the inclusion of PlayStation 3 testers, those in the third testing phase will be able to visit the city states of Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa alongside a host of new content to perform testing on.
