Blizzard Entertainment has today revealed that those eager to face the wrath of Diablo himself on their upcoming PlayStation 3 version can now pre-order a copy from select retailers. For those who do pre-order early, you'll be able to gain an exclusive in-game item: the Infernal Helm which offers an increase in experience gained.

“We’ve poured blood, sweat, and hellfire into creating an epic Diablo III experience for PlayStation gamers,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “In addition to including all the improvements from the PC version over the past year, we’ve made several updates to Diablo III for play on the PS3. We got a ton of positive feedback from players who tried the game at PAX East, and we can’t wait to get it into everyone’s hands later this year.”

Alongside the in-game pre-order items other retailers will also be offering limited-edition physical items, however it looks like EB Games are currently the only ones as of yet which offer a two-sided poster to those pre-ordering.

Diablo 3 for PlayStation 3 will be available later this year, with a PlayStation 4 release yet to be revealed.
