Minecraft creator, Notch Persson, has launched a browser-based game built in Unity simply titled Drop.

Citing Super Hexagon and the ending of Fez as part of his inspiration, Drop is a basic word puzzler that keeps you on your toes while trying to trip you out a little. Essentially you're tasked with typing corresponding letters that flash on-screen while the game throws a strange background at you. It's incredibly simple, and might find masters in those of you capable of touch-typing.

I've found Notch's other offerings to be sub-par.

Seems like he's just another pretentious twat who hit it big with a single idea and now expects people to care about his other, less interesting titles.

"I have a new game. It's amazing"

"It's a word puzzler, so what..."

"But... I'm Notch! I made minecraft!"

"*sigh*"

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. Especially after being promised proper mod support/api since 1.0 of minecraft and it's practically vapour ware now. I know he isn't in control of Minecraft now, but jesus christ. I just feel Mojang where/are a one trick pony.
