CD Projekt RED is currently doing the demo rounds for their near year-out open-world fantasy romp, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We haven't been lucky enough to see it on Australian soil just yet, but PC Gamer took the game for a preview spin and walked away feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

As the last entry in Geralt's storied videogame journey, Wild Hunt will offer players the most freedom of the series yet with the protagonist free from any political alignments or his annoying amnesia.

Alongside their write-up, the site also posted up a handful of new screens, all of which you'll find by clicking the the thumbnails below. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently marked as releasing in 2014 on PC and "next-gen" platforms.

Witcher 1 was amazing, Witcher 2 blown me away, Witcher 3? I've haven't been this excited for an RPG since Skyrim.

Judging by the screens, the graphics look similar to Witcher 2 and gameplay no doubt will great too. Can't wait :D
