Riot Games has officially unveiled their latest champion to the free-to-play MOBA title, Lissandra the Ice Witch, marking the 113th champion to be added to the game. According to the new
info page, Lissandra will play a key role in the mid and top lanes by utilising "abilities that emphasize crowd control, kiting and mobility over raw damage."
Lissandra’s magic twists the pure power of ice into something dark and terrible. With the force of her black ice, she does more than freeze – she impales and crushes those who oppose her. To the terrified denizens of the north, she is known only as “The Ice Witch.” The truth is much more sinister: Lissandra is a corruptor of nature who plots to unleash an ice age on the world.
Adding to Lissandra's arsenal is some quite unique abilities, including her Iceborn passive which offers the next ability to cost no mana and the cooldown can be reduced by hitting movement impaired enemies. Other abilities include Ice Shard, Ring of Frost, a long-range Glacial Path ability that offers teleportation and her Frozen Tomb ultimate that can work both on enemies and herself.

Zac, who was added in mid-March.

Pfft, DOTA2 is old news. In all seriousness, I'll be trying to get as much general MOBA news as possible in the future due to the quite large boom the genre has been going through. While they won't be as super in-depth as a more orientated site like Surrender at 20 or the LoL Reddit is, I'll be ensuring AusGamers has adequate enough coverage for all.
