While Internet sleuths are still crawling over Bungie's recent Alternate Reality Game, the Halo developer has officially confirmed the reveal date of their upcoming Destiny title, marking the calendar for February 17th (US time).

According to the recent post on their official website, the team will be revealing a first glimpse at "the vision and ambition that's driving the creation of our brave new world." The team also mentions that various media sites have been opened in anticipation of the reveal, including Facebook, Google+, Twitter and their official Destiny forums.

Previously we saw a leak on the very mysterious Destiny project, confirming that the setting would be sci-fi related and "seven hundred years from now in the Last City on Earth, in a Solar System littered with the ruins of man’s Golden Age." You can read more on the leak over here including a piece of artwork from the development team.
