Ubisoft has announced via a new trailer on IGN that upcoming stealth-action game Splinter Cell: Blacklist has been delayed until late August. Ubisoft hasn't commented yet on whether the new release date applies to PC as well, with previous multi-platform titles being delayed on PC naturally.

The new trailer, titled 'Inauguration' shows snippets of previous American Presidents being inaugurated, but also includes the new president, Patricia Caldwell. The trailer also reveals details about pre-ordering, including exclusive bonus content like the Dead Coast co-op map, the upper echelon suit for better protection, and gold sonar goggles that offer tactical imaging.
