A first-person Plants Vs Zombies game with an expanded Bejeweled mini-game in glorious 3D with destructible environments? A new job posting on the official PopCap website suggests so... okay, maybe not specifically that game pitch, but the formerly casual games-based developer of the aforementioned two is asking for an experienced developer to come on board for a "AAA title".

"The PopCap studio is looking for an experienced generalist SE to build a AAA console title," reads the job posting. "This generalist will work on a broad range of game systems including, but not limited to: animation, audio, resource management, pipelines and visual effects. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with the Frostbite 2 engine."

It's interesting as an EA subsidiary they're still having to post publicly for someone with Frostbite 2 experience, but given how much time appears to be left in this generation, we're guessing they're going for next. But PopCap working with such a powerful game engine on a Triple-A title is pretty interesting news -- let the speculation begin.
