This morning's Nintendo Direct live show has given us a lot of information in regards to the new and upcoming games for both the 3DS and the recently released Wii U console, including LEGO City: Undercover, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor Edge and more. We've seen some release dates announced and also sadly some delays to initial dates.

AusGamers has taken the liberty in rounding up all the announcements and brings you a compendium of what was revealed in both the American and European Nintendo Direct events.

Wii U Titles
  • LEGO City: Undercover - Will be released in Q1 2013 exclusively on the Wii U.
  • Pikmin 3 - Delayed until Q2 2013 and will be available exclusively on the Wii U.
  • Game & Wario - A Wii U exclusive coming Q1 2013 that will feature 16 mini-games featuring Wario and his friends similar to Wario Ware, integrating the Wii U gamepad.
  • Wii Fit U - An updated Wii Fit that offers 77 different games and will also include a new Fit Meter that can be used to track outside exercises and then be synced to the game. Releasing in Q1 2013
  • Sing Party - Available January 2013
  • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - Available March 2013. A comparison video between the original Wii release and the Wii U release can be found here
  • 3DS Titles
  • Animal Crossing - Arriving Q2 2013 and will feature the ability to be the mayor
  • New Super Marios Bro. 2 - New add-on content Coin Challenge Pack C and Platform Panic Pack available now for Coin Rush plus a free Gold Classics Pack for a limited time
  • Luigi's Mansion 2 - Available exclusively on 3DS in March 2013, Luigi's Mansion 2 will give players the chance to play as Luigi in exploring ghost-filled mansion and trying to solve all the puzzles along the way
  • Dr. Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can you stay focused? - Arriving March 2013
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Mirror of Fate - Set 25 years after Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, players take on the role of the multiple characters, each of whom has unique abilities and skills across different eras. Coming March 2013
  • Fire Emblem: Awakening - Arriving February 2013
  • eShop Titles
  • Zen Pinball 2 - A Wii U exclusive title on the eShop, Zen Studio's pinball simulation offers a number of boards to play on and utilises the unique gamepad controller as a way to interact with different controls and information. Available later this month
  • Little Inferno - From World of Goo developers, burn flaming logs, screaming robots, credit cards, batteries, exploding fish, unstable nuclear devices, and tiny galaxies. Available now for Wii U
  • Chasing Aurora - A 2D action where you can ride the wind from peak to peak and fight for the beacon of light in the harsh environment of the Alps. Available now in the eShop for Wii U
  • HarmoKnight - Available March 2013 for 3DS
  • Picross e2 - Will be available to download January 2013 for 3DS
  • Tokyo Crash Mobs - Available January 2013 for 3DS
  • Hydroventure: Spin Cycle - Available December 13th for 3DS
  • Wario Land 3 - A retro Wario available now that will see players trying to help Wario escape wacky levels

    Sucks that Pikmin 3 was delayed, but the missus will be happy to hear about new Picross.

    I'm also much more excited about Lego City than I was previously.

    Nintendo is doomed. Since mobile gaming is basically going to take over their 'casual gamers' market, they would have been smarter to attempt to return to the days when they competed with Sony. N64 release titles were amazing. I'm not saying they need to compete and make fancy graphic cut-scene-on-rails games, but a return to what they were good at. Imagine a decent Zelda game?!

    Nintendo is doomed. Since mobile gaming is basically going to take over their 'casual gamers' market, they would have been smarter to attempt to return to the days when they competed with Sony.
    You might want to read the news a bit more often, Sony is the one you should be worried about.
