As Halloween in the world of Tyria comes to a close, and the Mad King's chaos once again becomes folk tales, the Guild Wars 2 team are once again proposing new content to their latest MMO. With only a sentence and three screenshots, the update on the official websites releases section notes some new content will be coming this November in the shape of "The Lost Shores".
Something stirs in the Sea of Sorrows…

Unravel a mystery of monstrous proportions in The Lost Shores, a massive one-time world event that will change Tyria forever!
Many have taken to social forums, questioning what may appear in these Lost Shores, a place that wasn't even in the original Guild Wars. Rumours are floating around that it may be one of the six Elder Dragons, dubbed "Bubbles", however nothing has been confirmed yet.

In a recent post on the Guild Wars 2 official forums, Martin Kerstein who is Head of Global Community has hinted that after an upcoming build either today or tomorrow, players will find out just what can be expected with this content update. So until we know more, check out the screenshots below for a glimpse at what could be to come.

i've been wondering what they'll do with 100% world completion when they add new content? a new badge?

Well in Guild Wars when new content was added players who had 100% completion would retain their achievement, however their overall progress would go down to suit the new content. New players would just get it added onto their overall progress.

People are reporting beached whales along the coast of Lions Arch, though approaching them makes them disappear.
