For those of you still enjoying the brutal combat of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, developer Torn Banner has today announced plans for the first major patch following its recent release, and also detailed plans for future content.

With the release now being over two weeks ago, Torn Banner has taken to their website to dish out details on the first major patch, due out in the timeframe of next week or two. Featured in the patch will be a rework of the current server browser, fixed auto-balance, new ranged crosshairs and more.
So far we have been primarily focused on getting bugs worked out and the first big patch is coming soon, hopefully within the next week or 2. Patch one includes: a complete remake of the server browser, fixed auto-balance, new ranged crosshairs, fixed javelins and keybind improvements among many other items highlighted by our community.
The post also goes on to mention future content, including the first one which will feature "new maps, new weapons and duel mode plus plenty of surprises."

Check out the full announcement over at the official website for more, or read our review to see what we though about the sword wielding combatant.

Game is awesome, but fix that server browser!

Sweet javelins were frustrating to use because of the weird 'reload' animations after throwing.

I've been playing this recently and it is great.

Love playing with the javelins too, but that bug that stops aiming left and right was real annoying.
