Markus "Notch" Persson, the creator of the very popular block builder Minecraft, has released a new trailer showcasing some very rough work-in-progress footage of the upcoming sci-fi first-person shooter 0x10c. The game will take place in the quite distant future, and will feature the ability to control your ship via a fully functioning emulated 16 bit CPU.
While the trailer is a bit rough around the corners, it showcases the multiplayer mode that will be featured alongside singleplayer, plus a look at some of the computers on the ship and a awkward looking bot.
Sound engine, some basic multiplayer stuff, and a neat player placeholder model. The players will be humans in the final game.
No release date has been given yet on when we can expect 0x10c, but hopefully now that Notch is focusing less on Minecraft we'll be seeing more updates coming through.

281 474 976 712 644 is the number it is also the year in which the game is set after people wake up from malfunctioned cryo sleeps or something and the whole universe is collapsing with black holes everywhere

I'm not sure I've ever seen Bah make a post that has anything even remotely positive to say about anything, impressive!
The video did seem kind of pointless though, seems like the main thing that will set this game apart is "the ability to control your ship via a fully functioning emulated 16 bit CPU" and that wasn't shown at all.
