Anyone who played the original will likely be champing at the bit for what has already become a videogame household name, and Borderlands 2 will finally be dropped this week on a very suspecting game public.
So how does it fare against the original? Well, it brings back everything it did right the first time around (namely co-op), and amplifies it ten-fold. But more importantly, most things Gearbox got wrong with the original have also been broached here, of which the stand-outs are single-player/soloing, and the game's story (in that, there is one now). There's a lot more on offer though, all of which we explore in today's review.
