At the PlayStation GamesCom 2012 press briefing, Little Big Planet developer Media Molecule has revealed their latest new franchise, a papercraft action adventure game titled Tearaway.
Tearaway stars iota, a messenger from a paper dimension whose envelope head contains an urgent message to you! In order to read yours, you'll need to take up the role of co-star and, together with iota, journey through the vibrant papery landscape - two buddies going on an epic adventure.
the games title seems to be derived from the way in which the game invites players to tear away the layer between the real world and the game, and the trailer below provides a nice wrapup of the many ways in which players will directly interact with the game's environments and characters using the full array of PlayStation Vita's input functionality.

Examples shown include poking a finger through via the rear touchpad, tapping it to bounce objects, blowing into the microphone to cause a gust of wind, and snap photos to decorate in-game creatures. Watch the embedded clip below or click here for the HD video page.

Tearaway is scheduled for a 2013 launch, exclusively on PlayStation Vita.

Great use of AR, sounds like the kind of tittle that will show us how it should be done.
